The EQUATOR-PR4 preamplifier design is a milestone as a preamplifier with high precision, technology and innovation, and can be seen as a breakthrough with outstanding performance.
SEEC AUDIO SYSTEMS started in 1988 with the development of advanced electronics specially designed for the reproduction of music for professional and semi professional users. The original concept now became reality and embodies pure listening pleasure.
WHY "SEEC INT. AUDIO SYSTEMS" HAS DEVELOPED AS THE FIRST COMPANY IN THE WORLD THIS NEW 75 OHM STANDARD ?
Since the introduction of radio and audio equipment for non professional use. Through time, a new standard was born: The 47K Ohm input impedance and a low output impedance. This led to an increasing audio quality because noise levels were reduced to acceptable proportions. The changeover to standard 47K Ohm was practically spoken a good approach, but by no means a perfect solution. The most important advance is that all equipment no matter what brand can be connected to each other, and thus compatible. The cable reflection and phaseshifting inherent to this standard never found a fundamental solution. Besides the superior quality of the compatible "in" and "outputs" SEEC INT. AUDIO SYSTEMS has added a fully new uncompromising system.
* The new 75 Ohm interconnection method developed by SEEC for professional applications, will now solve most of all these problems. It is both an interlink and BNC connector of 75 Ohm. Higher driven energy levels are then an absolute requirement. In combination with SEEC equipment this improvement will come to its full performance. The function and explanation of this system is to be compared with the data exchange between computers in networks. PC Networks do have, in most cases, very long leads between the main station and other computers with a standard of 50 Ohm lead. If that system would not be that 50 Ohm, but the current audio standard, then it is nearly impossible to send data. A large impedance difference between "in" and "outputs" will always result in phase-shifting and reflections. SEEC AUDIO SYSTEMS had as objective to design a system for the better audio equipment without compromises. SEEC 75 Ohm interconnections can be seen as one of the best solutions to eliminate any form of phase shifting and reflections. The dynamic behaviour and accuracy will be strongly improved and signal losses are reduced to a minimum.

GENERAL PROPERTIES AND DESIGN FEATURES
The EQUATOR-PR4 is an uncompromised stereo (X2) high-end preamplifier with great precision, high dynamics and frequency response. Pulses show very short rise and fall time. >Speaking in terms of music: A level of dynamics, dimensionality thrue detail and clarity that are immediately appreciated. Superb high detail and articulation at low levels. Natural ambience are presented in harmony with the timbre of the event. Dynamic expression, range and depth feels like the emotional content of performances. Uncompromised technology was used, also by means of the interlinks. Making use of the this new 75 Ohm system designed by SEEC for professional applications is strongly advised. This will result in the best signal transport without tedious phase shifting and reflections. This failure has been solved by SEEC AUDIO SYSTEMS with a definite solution. Only the original signal will remain. This is easy audible by a natural well balanced precise stereo impression, and extreme homogenous sound. All amplifier and buffer-modules are separately shielded and powered by individual stabilised power supply networks. Two (2) volume controls with two totally separated stereo line output amplifiers, and also provided with two balance controls (GAIN) to adjust personal preamplification (preference) to obtain maximum stereo balance. With an "SEPARATE" switch on the rear side of the EQUATOR-PR4 is it possible to switch over the AUX-2 input to be able to connect and amplify a different signalsource, for example an extra CD player. The compatibility on this preamplifier is extended with the possibilities by means of ten (10) gold-plated RCA cinch stereo input connectors. All input signals are switched over per channel with single gas fillet shielded reed-relays of the highest quality. These are some of the many features why a high dynamic response is reached. The EQUATOR-PR4 is a precision instrument to which nothing is left over to a coincidence.

This type connector in combination with the right cable is used in the SEEC 75 Ohm system to drive the ultra detailed audio signals.
